One-Pass vs Modern Milling

Traditional single-pass mills apply high pressure to remove husk and polish rice in one operation. This results in:

  • High grain breakage
  • Lower rice recovery
  • Reduced head rice yield

Due to these limitations, Eastern Rice does not rely on outdated systems for commercial production.

Two-Stage Milling

Compact Rice Mill

Two-stage milling separates hulling and polishing into two controlled steps:

  • Rubber rollers gently remove the husk
  • Polishing machines whiten the rice

This method significantly improves grain quality and recovery compared to single-pass milling, ensuring a better product for our customers.

Incoming paddy often contains foreign materials such as straw, weed seeds, soil, sand, and dust. Our pre-cleaning systems ensure:

  • Higher milling efficiency
  • Better rice recovery
  • Reduced machine wear

We use advanced combinations of oscillating sieve cleaners to guarantee purity from the start.
